  • Percentage of residents and visitors who say they are able to use nearby parks the way they’d like (by age, race, income, gender)
  • Degree to which the demographics of parks program participants reflects the overall demographics of the community.
  • Number and types of rules or procedures likely to present barriers to park use.
  • Percentage of park signs and communication materials that are in languages relevant to the resident population.
  • Percentage of park budget or annual budget allocated for maintenance, by neighborhood.
  • Percentage of residents who say they feel safe in their local park.
